The Metropolis of Toulouse is pleased to invite the CAP24 attendees to a Welcome Reception in the City Hall, one of the symbols of Toulouse. The event will take place in the iconic reception hall, la Salle des Illustres.
An aperitif cocktail will be held after the speeches.

GALA DINNER

Gala dinner at The Museum of Toulouse, one of the most important and most visited scientific cultural establishments in France.
The dinner will be served in the main hall, under the quetzocoaltus and around the iconic elephant and will be preceded by a visit of the exhibitions.

JOLIMONT OBSERVATORY VISIT

The observatory Jolimont is the historical observatory of Toulouse, created in 1841. Heritage telescopes are still operational thanks to the care of the volunteers of the Société Populaire d’Astronomie, under cupulas scattered among beautiful gardens.
SAP volunteers will be pleased to share their passion for these instruments with the CAP24 attendees.

*You can access the gardens by yourself everyday from 10:00 to 21:00.

Post-tour at the Pic du Midi, one of the Greatest Sites of Midi-Pyrénées.
Discover a magical and majestic location atop the Pyrenees. Accessible to everyone by cable car.

Departure from Toulouse in the morning to reach the village of La Mongie where The Pic du Midi cable car will take you to an altitude of 2877 metres.
Lunch at The Pic du Midi.
Visit of the facilities by the astronomers : astronomical observatories and public facilities
Bus transport back to Toulouse
